1/8" x 14HP Series Timber Wolf® Band Saw Blade

Been using these blades for several years.. cut a lot of 1 - 1 1/2 " hardwood. No problems. Always good service and advise.

I have used the 1/8 blade and it performed great not too much sanding.Was introduced to Timber wolf blades 20 years ago at the Woodworking shows in mn thankyou .

I purchased the 62" version for my benchtop saw, and this blade is perhaps the smoothest cutting and fastest 1/8" I've ever used. Unfortunately, I think the blade is a bit too thick for a band size that small, it was far thicker than the Bosch blades I'd been using previously, and I believe that contributed to its weld failure at approximately 2hrs of use, split up into roughly ten-minute runs making parts across the span of a year. The blade was still razor sharp and cutting flawlessly when the weld failed, with no excessive load on the saw or anything of the like. I suspect the blade thickness is just such that it induces excessive forces in the weld on a small diameter wheel. I find it hard to purchase another, as much as I like the blade, ten dollars an operating hour is pretty darn steep.
