I have tried many different blades
I have only been scrolling for about 1 year but in that time I have tried many different blades. The person who demonstrates scrolling where I go to watch always recommends a particular brand. I originally bought the PS Wood brand because of the convenience of the tubes for storage. The other day when I ran out of PS Wood #5 in the middle of a project, I went to the so called "highly recommended" blades. I was shocked at the difference in the way the blades sawed through my wood. I confess that I had previously thought blades were all about the same. I was wrong. The PS Wood blades are way superior. They are pricey but tend to last longer and lately when the blade dulls enough that I no longer want to push as hard as has become necessary, I put the used blade nearby so that when I change projects and start to make less critical cuts, e.g., to cut the wood into smaller pieces before beginning the main project, I use the old blade. I highly recommend these blades.

Nothing but the finest
There is not a blade out there on this Earth that can even come close to these blades. I can stack cut 1/8 ply to a depth of 1 1/2 inches thick and let the blade do the work and it doesnt deviate and i still get those tight tight tight corners a cnc just cant seem to produce. No burning no squealing like the competetors blades and both sides of my work is left with a dustless clean shiny polished surface. These pay for themselves over and over again. And when they dull out save them on the side and give them to the beginners because even when they are dull they cut like a brand new blade of a competitor brand.

Only the best for me
If your not using the ps wood blades for your scroll saw then your using the wrong blades. I love these things and buy them 100 at a time now and they are worth every penny. They come in a tube already, and there is no wire bound around them to remove. They pay for themselves and then some. I switched from pegas and now i dont even use pegas as a backup if we dont have ps wood blades production stops. Period.
